NKSC 2024 Select Tryouts

North Kitsap Soccer Club’s select tryouts for the 2024 season are coming up soon!

All new and returning players must register for tryouts.

Want to check out our select soccer program before registering for tryouts? Stay tuned for Open Practice dates for your player’s age group! At Open Practice, anyone is invited to attend and check out the program before tryouts.

    Hello,
    My 6 year old son is interested in playing soccer. I would like to know if this is the right place to look.

      Hey Michael,

      Thanks for reaching out. We have a couple of programs for new players, just like your son. Our primary goal is to make soccer fun first and foremost, and use that as a foundation to begin teaching skills, good sportsmanship, and teamwork.

      Starting in a few weeks, there’s an 8-week long program run by UK International. More details are on our website, here: https://northkitsapsoccer.org/spring-development-u6-to-u12/

      Over the summer, we’re partnering with UK International again to run a summer camp. More details are on our website, here: https://northkitsapsoccer.org/summer-opportunities/

      And our Rec League starts in the fall. We’ll open registration in a few weeks, and ultimately create teams based on the number of applicants. Practices will start in August or September.

    We are new to the area, from California. We have experience with AYSO. Does this cost money? A lot of money? And – kids of all expertise? We have 4 boys – but, my oldest (9, 10 in August) is the most interested. We also have 6, 5, and 2 year old. We are currently located in Poulsbo. Any information is appreciated!

      Hi Tara,

      Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to Poulsbo! We have programs that are appropriate for kids of all experience levels!

      We are partnering with UK International to run a Spring session, starting in a few weeks (more details on our website here: https://northkitsapsoccer.org/spring-development-u6-to-u12/) and a Summer camp style program in August (more details on that program here: https://northkitsapsoccer.org/summer-opportunities/).

      We also offer recreational Fall Soccer for kids in the U6 age group (born in 2019) and up. Rec registration will open in a few weeks, and we will create teams based on the number of applicants.

      Your oldest son would also be welcome to tryout for our select soccer program, if you’re interested in that option. Tryouts for the U11 team (players born in 2014) are on April 29 & 30, from 7pm-8:30pm at Strawberry Fields in Poulsbo (more info here: https://northkitsapsoccer.org/select-tryout-registration/). We will offer Open Practices, a way for you to meet the coach and experience a practice, prior to tryouts. Those dates and times are still TBD.
